Disability Access Statement
The Lawrenny Lodge is a four storey building, parts of which date back over 300 years. The following is provided as helpful guide.
There is private parking for guests adjoining the front of the building on a slight incline, comprising of a tarmac surface.
Assistance with luggage is always available if required. Unfortunately, we do not have a lift.
Entrance to the building is via five steps with a sturdy handrail, through a wide door into the conservatory.
Assistance dogs are welcome and are permitted in all guest rooms and all public areas including the breakfast / dining room and the bar.
Some breakfast items are served in a buffet style (fruit, cereal etc) however, waiter service is available if required at any time, this service includes the bar area as well.
Accommodation for guests is either on the first or second floor. For the first floor, a minimum of 11 steps and a maximum of 15 lead to the rooms. For the second floor a further 14 steps (with a landing turn) will need to be climbed for two of the rooms, with the highest rooms being an additional 4 steps after that.
Two rooms on the first floor have 4 steps leading up or down into the en suite facilities from the bedroom area.
All of our rooms have teletext / Ceefax (for subtitles) on the TV.
We are a fully non smoking establishment and ask that our guests comply with this request.
Facilities are always under review and being improved reasonably within the constraints of an old property. We are more than happy to discuss any additional requirements you may have in the hope that we may make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
